Marussia should not race in Abu Dhabi
The Marussia team tried everything to be able to race this weekend in Abu Dhabi, but even if the Russian team reportedly sent all the necessary equipment to the Yas Marina circuit, it seems that it was not enough.
While the team Caterham F1 has confirmed its presence in Abu Dhabi for this weekend, the Marussia F1 team, which was declared insolvent a few days ago, still hoped to be present in Abu Dhabi this weekend for the final race of the Formula 1 season.
The Russian team is said to have sent all the necessary equipment to race this weekend on the Yas Marina circuit, in the garage left empty for them. However, it remained to be seen if the team would be able to receive the cars and equipment in time. Furthermore, according to a source at Ferrari, the Italian team had anticipated this scenario, bringing with them the power units of the Marussia team – as well as the engineers responsible for these components.

This package from Marussia could encourage Max Chilton to negotiate with Caterham to secure the second seat for this weekend, as only Kamui Kobayashi has been confirmed – as a reminder, Marcus Ericsson left the Caterham team a few days ago.
