Official: Romain Grosjean stays with Lotus F1 in 2015
Romain Grosjean confirmed on his Twitter account that he will remain a driver for the Lotus team in 2015. It will be his fourth consecutive season in Enstone.
The information was in the air and the latest developments in the transfer market offered few solutions to Romain Grosjean, who will remain with Lotus F1 in 2015. The driver and the team confirmed this on their respective Twitter accounts.
The Frenchman expressed his delight to extend with the Enstone team in an interview published on the team’s website: « We waited a long time before announcing it, so it’s nice to finally confirm that I will stay with the team next season. »
Grosjean also stated that continuing with his current team was a logical choice for him, especially with the challenges faced this season – with an uncompetitive Lotus: « I think we make a good duo. We’ve been working together for a while now and I clearly don’t want to leave on a low performance like the one seen in 2014 because we’ve had some wonderful moments together. It would seem wrong to say goodbye after the tough path of 2014, because I know what everyone at Enstone is capable of. »
