Sainz Jr with Ricciardo for Red Bull at the Abu Dhabi tests
Carlos Sainz Jr will drive the Red Bull RB10 on November 25 in Abu Dhabi during the final private tests of the season. He will then hand over his seat to Daniel Ricciardo for the second day of testing.

Carlos Sainz Jr will drive the Red Bull RB10 during the Abu Dhabi private tests on November 25 and 26. The young Spaniard will be lined up by the Austrian team alongside Daniel Ricciardo, the current main driver who will still be there in 2015.
Ricciardo will be paired with Daniil Kvyat next season at Red Bull, but it is Carlos Sainz Jr who has been chosen by the four-time world champion team for the last tests of the year, as a reward for his 2014 title in Formula Renault 3.5 with Dams. He will drive on the first day.
This is not the first time he will take the wheel of a Formula 1 single-seater, indeed, he already drove the Red Bull RB9 last year during the young driver tests at Silverstone, as well as the Toro Rosso STR8 on the same occasion. He also had the opportunity to perform a demonstration with the RB8 this year as a reward for his leading position at mid-championship in FR3.5.
Carlos Sainz Jr is also still in the running for a seat at Toro Rosso in 2015, to support Max Verstappen. This is what Franz Tost recently revealed, who had named the Spaniard as one of the four contenders for this second seat.
