The second ePrix of the 2014/2015 Formula E season will take place in Putrajaya, Malaysia on November 22nd. While the race was initially scheduled for 4:00 PM local time, it has been moved up by two hours and will now start at 2:00 PM local time, which is 7:00 AM French time.

The organizers of the Formula E ePrix have decided to change the race schedule because weather conditions might be better at 2 PM instead of 4 PM as explained in the statement published on the 100% electric single-seater championship’s website: Having studied the weather situation of the past weeks and taking into account the medium and long-term forecasts, Formula E, in agreement with the FIA, has decided to change the start time to 2 PM local time instead of the planned 4 PM. The change was made as a precautionary measure due to potential significant downpours during the race, with the new start time expected to offer organizers more flexibility to react in case of severe weather disruptions.

In addition to the race, the Formula E organizers have decided to move all other scheduled sessions forward by two hours, namely the practice session – which has been extended for the occasion – and the qualifying session, which takes place in four parts.
