Marussia team returning to F1 in Abu Dhabi?
Absent from the United States Grand Prix and probably the Brazilian Grand Prix due to its administration process, the Marussia team hopes to return to competition in F1 at the last race of the year in Abu Dhabi.

According to Sky Sports F1, the Marussia team hopes to regain its place on the Formula 1 grid during the final round of the 2014 Formula 1 season in Abu Dhabi.
The Russian team based in Great Britain was placed in administration last week, thus missing the United States Grand Prix held this weekend at the Circuit of the Americas. It also seems likely that Marussia will be absent this weekend for the Brazilian Grand Prix, which takes place at Interlagos.
The Marussia team, which entered F1 in 2010 under the name Manor Competition before becoming Virgin Racing for its first F1 season, changed its name following investment from the manufacturer Marussia. However, as the company closed in April, the owner Andrey Cheglakov announced that he was no longer able to finance his F1 team.
« The positive news is that we hear they are aiming for a return if they can sort out what they call their business issues – the fact that they are in receivership – and welcome new investors. They are aiming to come back not only next year, but also this year, » explained Ted Kravitz in an article before the race held in Austin.
The journalist from Sky Sports F1 also added that the team is indeed aiming for a spot on the grid in Abu Dhabi as well as for the 2015 season: « I understand that they have submitted an entry under the name Manor Grand Prix Limited for the 2015 World Championship and that they are considering being in Abu Dhabi if they can secure solid investments. Bernie Ecclestone has said they can come to Abu Dhabi so they are aiming for that, and it is said that Alexander Rossi will be the second driver alongside Max Chilton. »
