Official: Force India retains Nico Hülkenberg in 2015
Force India confirmed that Nico Hülkenberg will extend his journey in 2015 at the wheel of a car from the Indian brand.

For the first time in his short career, Nico Hülkenberg will complete two consecutive seasons as a regular driver with the same team since Force India has announced his contract extension for 2015.
The 27-year-old German, who finished in the points 13 times this season, including five 5th places, is happy to be able to continue his journey with the Silverstone outfit: « It’s good to confirm my plans for next season. It’s a team I know extremely well, and we’ve had a great year together with some standout results. The team has big ambitions, and I believe we can have a competitive package once again next year. We have a strong partner in Mercedes, and everyone in the team is motivated and hungry for success. I have a good feeling, and there are plenty of reasons to be excited about what we’re trying to build on this year’s results. »
Hülkenberg will contest his fourth season with Force India, after being a reserve driver in 2011 and a main driver in 2012 and 2014. His best results in F1 remain two 4th places, one of which was with Vijay Mallya’s team in Belgium in 2012 (the other was with Sauber in South Korea in 2013).
The Indian team is currently battling for fifth place in the constructors’ standings against McLaren.
