Carlos Sainz Jr hopes to find a seat in F1
The Spanish driver has not given up hope of securing a full-time seat for the 2015 season. According to OmniCorse, the site believes that Toro Rosso might recruit him if Daniil Kvyat moves to Red Bull.

While the position at Toro Rosso seemed destined for him, Carlos Sainz Jr was overtaken by Max Verstappen in the sister team’s lineup.
Helmut Marko succeeded in convincing the Dutch driver to join the Red Bull program instead of Mercedes. On the Mercedes side, they offered him a third driver position and a season in GP2. Jos Verstappen’s son signed a 3-year contract with the Faenza team, which offered him a starting position.
Despite not being nominated, the current leader of the World Series by Renault hopes to find a seat for the 2015 season. The Spanish driver will not be excluded from Red Bull’s young driver program led by Helmut Marko.
He spoke in OmniCorse:
I met with the Red Bull leaders, and they assured me that they will continue to support me. I don’t know yet where I will be racing, but they trust me, I’m not excluded from their plans. Now, the most important thing is to win the title to deserve a jump in class, said the Spanish driver to the Italian website.
According to the Italian site, if Sebastian Vettel were to leave Red Bull for McLaren Honda or Ferrari, Daniil Kvyat would be promoted to the Milton Keynes team. This would leave a backup option for Carlos Sainz, where he would be promoted to Toro Rosso.
