Sunday: No miracle for Sauber F1
Sauber had an anonymous race during the Italian Grand Prix. Adrian Sutil finished behind Pastor Maldonado's Lotus but is pleased with his team's work today. Esteban Gutierrez collided with Romain Grosjean towards the end of the race.

Adrian Sutil (No. 99) – 15th
The number 1 driver of the Swiss team did not manage to finish ahead of Pastor Maldonado’s Lotus. He can at least commend the professionalism of his team: « It was not a spectacular race for me. We managed to easily finish the race with a one-stop strategy. Generally speaking, we were too slow today: that’s why I couldn’t finish better than 15th. The team worked well and we made no mistakes. »
Esteban Gutierrez (No. 21) – 20th
Esteban Gutierrez’s race, struggling with his tires, was already not a success; a collision with Romain Grosjean at the end of the race dashed the Mexican’s hopes of performing well at Monza: « It was a difficult race. From the beginning, I struggled to make the hard tires work. We immediately changed the strategy, and I think it was the right decision. Back on the track, I was able to overtake a few cars, but that was all. We lost a lot of time with the incident I had at the end of the race [with Grosjean]. »
