Hungarian F1 Grand Prix: Get the TV schedule!

The Hungaroring circuit has hosted the Hungarian Grand Prix since 1986, and the lease was renewed last year, [until the 2021 season](#).

In /f1/actualite/15972-la-hongrie-renouvelle-son-contrat-jusquen-2021.html, the Hungarian round was won by Lewis Hamilton, his only victory of the season. The race was marked by the introduction of new tires by Pirelli, a few weeks after the fiasco at the British Grand Prix which saw five tires from the Italian brand burst.

The event is broadcast in France, Belgium, and Switzerland, among others. However, not everyone is in the same boat. While Canal+ provides optimal coverage, you have to pay to watch the Grand Prix on the group’s channels. Conversely, the races and qualifications are broadcast free-to-air on RTS and RTBF, but the coverage does not include the broadcast of the free practice sessions.

Note that Canal+ will offer a new episode of *Onboard* on Canal+ Sport, as it does every Wednesday after the race, to broadcast a summary of the Grand Prix without commentary, composed solely of onboard cameras and a selection of radio communications.
