The Silverstone testing schedule
Formula 1 is still at Silverstone at the start of this week after the British Grand Prix for two days of testing, an opportunity to review the program planned by the different teams in the paddock.

After the British Grand Prix, the eleven F1 teams stayed in Silverstone, England, as the British circuit will host two days of testing tomorrow, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Most teams have decided to field their regular drivers, such as Red Bull, Mercedes, Toro Rosso, Williams, and Marussia. However, some teams have chosen to offer track time to their test drivers, such as Lotus with Charles Pic, Force India with Daniel Juncadella, Sauber with Giedo van der Garde, and McLaren with Stoffel Vandoorne.
On the Caterham side, the team has decided to give young drivers a chance, Julian Leal (GP2), Will Stevens (Formula Renault 3.5), and Rio Haryanto (GP2), while for Scuderia Ferrari, it has been decided to run Pedro de la Rosa and Jules Bianchi, who will replace Kimi Räikkönen, who is out following his accident on Sunday. The Frenchman will therefore drive for two consecutive days for two different teams.
Note that the Ferrari, Red Bull, Lotus, and Marussia teams will each run a day on behalf of Pirelli as part of tests conducted by the Italian manufacturer. Lotus will notably test 18-inch tires, as announced by the Milan-based firm in the middle of last week.
