Friday: Problems for Bianchi at Marussia
If Max Chilton was able to cover numerous laps during both sessions of the day at Silverstone without encountering any problems, this wasn't the case for Jules Bianchi, but the driver from Nice focuses on the positives.

Jules Bianchi (No. 17) – 16th and 19th
The Frenchman experienced problems during both sessions of the day but remains optimistic about the future: « It hasn’t been an easy start to the weekend for me, with issues this morning and this afternoon. Despite the problems encountered and the track time lost as a result, I’m glad we were able to finish the day by going back out at the end of FP2 and despite the little work done on the settings, we seem to have a good base with the car. »
Max Chilton (No. 4) – 18th and 21st
The Briton is happy to have been able to cover many laps, thus compensating for the track time lost by his teammate: « We did a lot of laps today, which is positive because we lost time on the other side of the garage. There are still things we can improve, so we will fully utilize the data collected to try to understand how we can gain more lap time. »
Chilton was also delighted to race at home: « It’s nice to be back here in front of my fans, who have been incredibly supportive as usual. »
