In the lead-up to the upcoming British Grand Prix, which will take place next weekend at Silverstone, Sebastian Vettel shared Red Bull’s historical memories, often victorious on the British track: « I have fond memories of Silverstone, the best memory being when I won it in 2009. Mark Webber won it in 2010 and 2012. So we have a good approach to this circuit. »

The youngest four-time world champion in history continues to share his feelings about the track: « I always love going to Silverstone, the track is incredible for driving, and the support from the British public is always significant throughout the weekend, whether in rain or shine. The track has a special element, as it is very close to the factory. We always have an excellent staff working hard on the car. These people will be watched by their families, I hope we can achieve a good result there. »

The German driver’s teammate, Daniel Ricciardo, also commented on his personal situation before the Grand Prix: “This year I will stay in the UK after the race which is good because, generally, after the race we tend to leave immediately. We are very busy right now, we had the home race [in Austria], then we’ll go to Germany,” he concluded.

As a reminder, Red Bull occupies second place in the Constructors’ Championship with 143 points, 158 points behind Mercedes. Sebastian Vettel holds 5th place in the World Drivers’ Championship with 60 points, 105 points behind Nico Rosberg, while Daniel Ricciardo is in third place with 83 points.
