Newey: « Daniel has an incredible attitude »
The British engineer from Red Bull, Adrian Newey, has praised the performances of Daniel Ricciardo within the Austrian team since the beginning of 2014. Has the Australian driver acquired a new status?
For his arrival at Red Bull Racing, Daniel Ricciardo met the expectations of the Austrian team. He is also positively received in Milton Keynes where Adrian Newey is pleased with the Australian’s attitude.
In Canada, Ricciardo clinched the very first victory of his Formula 1 career, while the Mercedes team faced difficulties in Montreal. Currently, the former Toro Rosso driver is 3rd in the World Drivers’ Championship, while Sebastian Vettel is in 5th place, trailing his Australian teammate by 19 points.

What I find astonishing about him is the way he remains calm in the car. When he communicates on the radio, it’s as if he’s driving with one hand while the other hand is holding a cup of tea, it’s remarkable. He is very calm, he is composed, and he takes immense pleasure in driving. »
