Friday: Force India Smiles Again at Home
Force India had a more convincing Friday than in Suzuka. The Indian car behaves better at home than in recent events. Enough to envisage a great duel with Sauber.

Adrian Sutil – 15th and 12th:
« It was a pretty positive day with a more consistent car than in previous races. We made small adjustments rather than big ones, and I think it was the right approach because the balance of the car is good. There is still room for improvement, but I think we have a reasonable pace for tomorrow. We still need to fine-tune the settings, but hopefully the work we’ve done will allow us to be close to Q3 tomorrow. The most important thing is that I am comfortable in the car. »
Paul Di Resta – 15th (Free Practice 2):
« I think it’s a good day. Even though I missed free practice 1, I slowly but surely brought the car to a comfortable level. We now need to make some decisions to ensure we will extract the best while keeping the race in mind. In terms of performance, the car seems to be more competitive than in Suzuka which is encouraging. »
James Calado – 18th (Free Practice 1):
« I had already driven on this track before in the simulator, but my first real experience was impressive. It’s a fantastic track, one of the most enjoyable I’ve driven on. The session was straightforward with car setup and data collection. The grip level was low at first, but I slowly improved my speed. I had a small spin in what was probably my fastest lap, but other than that, it went very well. »
