This weekend, the grand circus of Formula 1 stops at an atypical circuit, the Singapore night race. In the humid heat, the drivers will have to keep their senses alert for nearly two hours for what is the longest, and undoubtedly the most physically demanding, race of the season.

Except during Free Practice 1 on Friday morning, it was Sebastian Vettel who showed the most speed in the streets of the city-state, even though the gap with his pursuers narrowed as the sessions went on. On pole, the German will be alongside Nico Rosberg in the Mercedes.

Great performance by Romain Grosjean who places his Lotus in third position ahead of the other Red Bull, that of Mark Webber, and the Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton.

On the other hand for Alonso, this Grand Prix looks challenging. The Spaniard is only seventh behind his teammate who has stated that he will now play his own card. But with the high likelihood of a safety car, anything is possible and the race will be full of interest.

As in 2012, Motorsinside.com offers you the opportunity throughout the 2013 season to experience the races via interactive live text. We therefore invite you to follow this 13th Grand Prix of the 2013 season, starting at 1:50 PM.
