Jerez Testing Live – Day 2

The Formula One Circus is present this week in Jerez, Spain, for the start of the winter testing of the season. All teams are running with their machines except for Williams, who will only present the FW35 in Barcelona, and is therefore running with a FW34 chassis enhanced with parts intended for the FW35.

Motors Inside is present in the Jerez paddock for these tests, and like yesterday, we offer you a text live feed to let you experience this second day of testing. Feel free to participate in this live session by asking your questions throughout the day.

Few changes among the drivers who will be racing today, Massa continues at Ferrari, as does Grosjean at Lotus, Webber at Red Bull, Ricciardo at Toro Rosso, Hülkenberg at Sauber, Maldonado at Williams, Chilton at Marussia, and Van der Garde at Caterham. The changes are to be found at McLaren where Sergio Pérez will drive the MP4-28 for the first time, taking over from Button, at Mercedes where Lewis Hamilton takes over from Nico Rosberg, and at Sahara Force India where Paul di Resta will only drive this morning before handing over the VJM06 to James Rossiter.

As a reminder, yesterday it was Jenson Button who set the fastest time in Jerez despite a fuel pump issue that kept him in his stand for 5 hours. Mercedes also experienced an electrical problem on the F1 W04, and Marussia did not finish the day on the track due to Chilton’s off-track exit. These three teams will therefore have to make up for some of the lost time from yesterday.
