Saturday: Red Bull and Vettel well placed on the second row
As in Austin two weeks ago, the Red Bulls have opponents to match with the McLarens, who outpace them in qualifying. But positions on the second row, with Mark Webber in third just ahead of Sebastian Vettel, are prime spots for the Austrian team to finish the season on the highest note possible.

Mark Webber – 3rd and 3rd:
We did our best, but it’s disappointing not to be on the front row. I thought the lap would be good enough, but we were a tenth off; it’s always tight here in qualifying. For the last race of the season, it would have been nice to take pole, but well done to McLaren. We don’t know what the weather will be like tomorrow, and if the whole race will be on Intermediates or Rain tires – we also have to be ready for part of it with slicks. You never know what will happen here with the weather.
Sebastian Vettel – 2nd and 4th:
« Q2 was good for us, but I made a mistake in the first lap of Q3 at turn 4. I was happier with my second lap in Q3, but it wasn’t fast enough. I could have done a bit more, so I’ll look at the data when I get back and see where I could have improved. We are in good shape and have been fast all weekend, so let’s see what we can do in the race – we’ll try to do our best. »
