Saturday: Caterham drivers confident for the race
Vitaly Petrov and Heikki Kovalainen believe they have a competitive CT01 in India, and the two Caterham drivers think they can have a good race tomorrow given their starting positions on the grid. The goal will be to challenge the drivers in front of them.

Heikki Kovalainen – 19th and 20th:
« It has been a good weekend so far. The balance was better than in South Korea and in my first qualifying stint, the car felt good. There was more to extract but I had a bit of traffic which hampered me and then on my second stint, I caught up with a group of cars at turn 10 and lost grip, enough to take me out. I wasn’t attacking so hard and there was no issue with the car, I simply lost the front end and even with that spin, I didn’t lose positions so I think we can have a good race tomorrow. »
Vitaly Petrov – 20th and 19th:
« I’m really happy with my position today. All weekend, the team did a great job and I had a setup that I was satisfied with in every session. We made a few adjustments for qualifying and the way the car handled and my lap times showed that we made progress, so I’m thrilled about that. Now, we’re looking forward to tomorrow and to be honest, anything can happen. No one really knows what the tire strategies will be, there could be one stop or two, so we’re going to study that tonight and I’m confident that if we make the right choice, we can secure a good result in the race. »
