Sunday: The Williams were not quick enough for points
Williams had a weekend to forget: the FW34s were simply not fast enough to compete for a points finish. Pastor Maldonado and Bruno Senna, finishing in that order in 14th and 15th positions, were unable to do anything in the race, and both hope that the issues with their car will be resolved for the Indian Grand Prix.

Pastor Maldonado – 14th:
At the beginning of the race, we were too hard on the front tires, which meant we couldn’t go as fast as we wanted. After the pit stop, things were better and we were able to do 30 laps with that set of tires. Overall, we weren’t fast enough this weekend, so we need to find out why and try to improve for the next race.
Bruno Senna – 15th:
« It was a frustrating race for me because I didn’t make many mistakes this weekend, which makes it even more disappointing to finish where we did. We need to work hard on the issues we had because the grid is very tight. We will keep pushing, and if we have a weekend where we put everything together, we can be back in the points. Hopefully, the next weekend will be one of those. »
