Swiss Tina Hausmann joins the F1 Academy with the support of Aston Martin
Aston Martin has just announced the signing of 17-year-old Swiss driver Tina Hausmann to their team. She will be participating in the F1 Academy championship in 2024 with the Italian team Prema.

Tina Hausmann started in motorsport with karting at the age of 7. She has excelled in various championships such as the DKM and ADAC Masters in Germany. Last year, the young Swiss driver participated in the women’s category of the Italian F4, where she won the title with 310 points and seven victories.
In 2024, the F1 teams will invest more in the F1 Academy by sponsoring a female driver each. Tina Hausmann’s good performances have allowed her to join the Aston Martin team and become part of the F1 Academy, in 2024, with the Italian team Prema.

“The F1 Academy is an incredible opportunity for me, it’s an amazing series that I am proud to be a part of,” said the driver on the Instagram post.
« I know that I will learn so much that will truly help me as a pilot, including the experience I will gain by racing on seven new circuits in front of large crowds. It will be a whole new world, but I am so excited to start. Representing the Aston Martin team in the series is a huge honor. My first day at the AMR technology campus showed me how amazing this team is. I am also very proud to compete with PREMA Racing. PREMA is a team that every young driver hopes to race for – they are the best at what they do – and I know they will help me develop throughout my career in motorsport. There is so much to look forward to and I want to thank everyone who made this possible, rejoiced Tina Hausmann.
