New rumor about AlphaTauri’s future name for 2024
To find out the new identity of the Faenza team, we still have to wait. While the brand Hugo Boss has been mentioned, AlphaTauri CEO Peter Bayer has confirmed that it will be a more classic name.

According to MotorsportTotal.com, AlphaTauri is expected to be called “Racing Bulls” starting in 2024, a more traditional name, without highlighting a brand through the team’s name. To support this new rumor, AlphaTauri CEO Peter Bayer has confirmed that the Faenza-based team will race under a classic name.
Peter Bayer’s vision:
The identity is what Toro Rosso would have been, and it will be closer to the Red Bull family again. We will change the team’s name, we will change the identity, the logo, everything, a complete relaunch, a complete rebranding. The team’s name, the identity, was decided by the partners. And I have to carry them with me without being able to share them, and that’s very difficult!
Peter Bayer also explains the role played by Daniel Ricciardo in this AlphaTauri revamp and in acquiring new sponsors to help the team. Indeed, the Australian driver’s great popularity has allowed AlphaTauri to get back on track for the end of the 2023 season and beyond.
« We’re on the right track. And because we’re so well received in the United States, we found these two companies that like each other. We had a very, very good meeting with these two new partners. They got along very well. They started working together immediately. They thought so much that I was really scared! They think big, bigger than we probably dared to think, said Peter Bayer. It gives us reason to be optimistic about AlphaTauri’s future.
So, if Adidas or Hugo Boss presented themselves as serious candidates, it is ultimately a more classic name that should be chosen by the AlphaTauri executives. If “Racing Bulls” is chosen, the connection between Red Bull and its sister team would be even more pronounced.
