Sunday: Williams falls victim to debris and the first lap
No points for the Williams team, despite Pastor Maldonado's 5th place on the grid. The Venezuelan ran over debris in his first stint, which damaged his car, while his teammate was involved in a collision with Romain Grosjean on the first lap, preventing him from scoring well.

Pastor Maldonado – 15th:
It was a tough race today. We started off well, but the car lacked pace in the second stint, and I didn’t have the grip needed to maintain my position due to some damage encountered early in the race. The car improved a bit on the Soft tires in the last stint, but we need to go back and understand why we weren’t as fast as earlier in the week in time for Hungary.
Bruno Senna – 17th:
I had a better race pace than my result suggests, so it’s disappointing to finish in this position. I was unlucky because I lost almost a minute in the first lap after having to pit due to contact, which put me at the back of the pack, and from that position, it’s always difficult to carve your way through the field. Nonetheless, we really have good pace in the car and if I can qualify higher on the grid next time, we have a good chance of scoring points in Hungary.
