The Aston Martin F1 team is selling shares to Arctos Partners
Aston Martin is expanding rapidly. An agreement between Aston Martin and Arctos Partners is expected to be officially finalized soon.

Aston Martin is going to experience something new in its organization. The team, currently ranked 5th in the constructors’ championship, has reached an agreement with the private equity firm Arctos Partners.
The exact figures have not yet been disclosed. According to the media outlet Financial Times, the investment would value the team at around one billion pounds Sterling (€1,144,415,000). The agreement is expected to be finalized by the end of 2023.
Supporting the growth of Aston Martin
With a very promising season, Aston Martin is building an ambitious project. Fernando Alonso, who officially joined the British team in Bahrain for the first time, contributed to its development. With this new investment fund, Aston Martin will be able to accelerate its development. This season, Alpine also obtained new shareholders with a consortium including Wrexham AFC actors and owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. Arctos Partners will provide Aston Martin with in-depth knowledge of the sports industry and a strong network of influential relationships to support its ongoing growth.
The associate director was delighted that an agreement had been reached to support Lawrence Stroll’s team in the long term. We are looking forward to collaborating with Aston Martin and see this opportunity as the beginning of a long-term partnership with Lawrence and the entire organization, he stated. This investment is in line with our company’s strategy, which focuses on supporting major sports brands in North America and Europe.
Aston Martin satisfied with the agreement
This partnership with this investment fund will allow Aston Martin to have a better budget. This season, Aston Martin moved into its new £200 million (€228,883,000) factory in Silverstone. The team aims to expand and improve in order to compete for top positions in future seasons.
“I am delighted to welcome Arctos Partners as a new partner and minority shareholder of the Aston Martin Formula 1 team,” Lawrence Stroll expressed. “The team has had tremendous success this season with eight podium finishes and our highest ever points total as a constructor. But our collective ambition is even greater. Arctos recognizes the potential and value of this project as we continue to build a world-class Formula 1 team. They share our vision for our ultra-luxury brand and are extremely passionate about this sport. We are investing in infrastructure, human resources, and processes, and this is the perfect time to deepen Arctos’ operational expertise and strategic experience. Together, we will continue to drive this team forward and build an even brighter and more prosperous future.”
At the end of this season, Aston Martin continues to fight for 4th place in the constructor standings with McLaren. Mike Krack’s team is 21 points behind the Woking-based team.
