Saturday: Force India finally in Q3!
After several challenging races, the Indian team finally managed to make it to Q3, thanks to Paul di Resta, who preferred to conserve his tires rather than take risks at the end of the session. Nico Hülkenberg, slightly hampered by understeer, made an error and couldn't join his Scottish teammate.

Paul di Resta – 15th and 10th
I am very happy with our performance in qualifying today. With our shortened program yesterday, it wasn’t easy to have everything done, but the team did a great job to have the car ready before qualifying. I had a very good lap in Q2, just three-tenths behind the best time, but in Q3 we made the strategic decision to save tires. I think this will put us in a good position for tomorrow, and I believe we can deliver a solid race.
Nico Hülkenberg – 19th and 13th
« The day has been very productive for us, but we learned a lot this morning and improved the car ahead of qualifying, where we showed our speed. My Q2 lap felt very good until the last sector where I experienced understeer, which cost me a few tenths. Without that, we would have had both cars in the top 10. But I am still happy and I feel we can fight for points tomorrow. »
