Mexico supports Sauber again
Last year, Sergio Perez joined Sauber thanks to the generous support he receives in his home country. His driving skills have allowed him to maintain this support, as Mexico has decided to renew its "Visit Mexico" campaign on the rear wing of the Swiss team's cars.

The second place secured by Sergio Perez in Malaysia allowed a boost in the finances of his modest team by putting it in the spotlight. This is how Sauber managed to convince Mexico to renew its presence on its rear wing.
The Central American country will thus ensure its promotion at only twelve of the remaining eighteen events on the 2012 season calendar. Nevertheless, the country’s name will be featured for the entire rest of the season on the front nose, the suits, and helmets of Sergio Perez and his teammate, Kamui Kobayashi.
Peter Sauber commented on this announcement: «We are very happy that this partnership is continuing. We can assume that our good results in the first two races contributed to the renewal of this agreement. Of course, Sergio’s second place in Malaysia has once again caused pride in his home country.»
If this new agreement is very visible, the team’s main support remains the Telmex group, owned and led by the world’s richest man, Mexican Carlos Slim.
