The 2012 Jerez Test Schedule
Overview of the testing schedule planned by the different teams on the grid for the first four days of pre-season testing, which will take place in Jerez starting tomorrow, Tuesday.
The first winter tests of the 2012 season will take place starting tomorrow at the Jerez circuit in Spain, over four days, from February 7th to 10th. The majority of teams will be testing their new cars – with the exception of Mercedes AMG, HRT, and Marussia.
The Russian team has even decided not to participate in these tests at all. Mercedes, on the other hand, will run with its 2011 car but only during the first three days of the four allowed. HRT, for its part, will only take part in the first two days with Pedro de la Rosa at the wheel of the HRT F111.
The Caterham F1 team is the only one that will offer track time to its reserve driver, Giedo Van der Garde. The Dutch driver will be on track aboard the CT01 on Thursday – which leaves only one day of testing for Jarno Trulli.
