Mateschitz: “Vettel is stronger than ever”
Sebastian Vettel has not rested on his laurels after his double victory in the world championship. Dietrich Mateschitz warned the German's rivals that his driver was sharper than ever.

In an interview with Gazetta Dello Sport, Dietrich Mateschitz, the director of Red Bull, announced that his double world champion driver had a studious winter and is in even better shape than in previous years to tackle 2012 at full strength: Sebastian has improved, and he is stronger than ever. He prepared during the winter break like never before.
For his part, Mateschitz promises Vettel that he will have the tools to achieve a treble: « What Sebastian needs is a competitive car. From that perspective, we will be able to assess our rivals during the first testing sessions in Jerez. »
Dietrich Mateschitz also commented on Vettel’s recent statements that a string of Red Bull successes could enter the team into the sport’s legend, at the same level as Ferrari: « What Sebastian says is surely true, Ferrari became a legend thanks to its victories and titles. How many titles does it take to achieve that? That’s not important. What is important is pulling off the hat-trick in 2012. »
Finally, when the Austrian is asked about Red Bull’s main rivals in 2012, he mentions: « McLaren, Ferrari and Mercedes… I think in that order. »
