Hamilton and Massa have buried the hatchet
Lewis Hamilton has decided to put an end to his quarrel with Felipe Massa today in Brazil. The McLaren driver went to see the Ferrari driver to put an end to their common disagreements.

Lewis Hamilton and Felipe Massa have experienced several mishaps this season during various Grand Prix races. The two men notably collided in Great Britain, Singapore, and India. Neither of them seemed ready to make the first move towards the other to put an end to these tensions.
Felipe Massa did try to speak to Hamilton after Singapore, but the latter explained that he had nothing to say to his Brazilian counterpart. He eventually changed his mind and visited Massa today in the Ferrari motorhome.
“I have never had anything against him. I have always respected him, even this year after everything that happened. I think it’s good of him to have come here because I would never have seen him as I did nothing wrong this year,” stated Felipe Massa about the event.
Lewis Hamilton revealed that he had respect for his rival and had decided to talk to him after the race – the last of the season – to smooth things over.
« It has been a long and difficult year for all the drivers, and I hope they will have a good winter. It was nice to have a little chat with Felipe after the race. I have great respect for him and I am already looking forward to racing against him again next year, » said Lewis Hamilton.
This reconciliation made another person happy, Stefano Domenicali, the director of Scuderia Ferrari. The Italian manager praised Hamilton’s gesture to ease tensions.
«I think I am delighted today to have seen Lewis Hamilton come here today and greet Felipe, because in the end, that’s what it’s about. It was a nice gesture and I am happy that things have cleared up. I am really delighted about that,» explained Stefano Domenicali.
