Saturday: Sutil places his Force India in the top 10
Still in Q3, Adrian Sutil enjoys driving a perfectly tuned car and hopes to maintain his ninth place in the driver standings, regardless of the weather tomorrow. For Paul Di Resta, speed issues cost him a top 10 spot in qualifying, but the race looks promising given the practice pace.

Adrian Sutil – 6th and 8th
« Another good qualifying session for me to continue a good weekend. I felt good all afternoon and I really loved the session because the car’s balance was excellent. The only real problem was the wind, but I was able to adapt my driving and it didn’t affect me. Eighth is a good position and I feel confident for tomorrow, whether the track is dry or wet. We just have to wait and see what the weather will be like, but I hope we can score a lot of points as I’m aiming for ninth place in the drivers’ championship. That would be a good way to end the season. »
Paul Di Resta – 9th and 11th
« I knew it would be a delicate session because I was suffering from a lack of speed compared to Adrian’s car, and we haven’t been able to fully understand why. I was losing time on the straights, which was frustrating. On the other hand, I’m quite satisfied with the eleventh place. There are rain forecasts for tomorrow, and we know the car has been competitive in the wet, so I hope we can capitalize on that. And if it’s dry, we’ll be strong because our pace on long stints seemed very good. »
Robert Fernley
« I think overall, we can be happy today. We were confident about having both cars in the top 10, but Paul has been suffering from top speed issues since this morning, which we are still investigating. Without that, we would have had both cars in Q3. As for Adrian, he delivered an excellent performance, putting in consistent laps and making the most of the car. For tomorrow, we’re all looking at the weather forecast because there’s a high risk of rain. Whatever happens, we are well placed to bring home points with both cars and secure our sixth place in the Constructors’ Championship, as well as getting Adrian into the top 10 in the Drivers’ Championship. »
