Kubica will not be at the start of the 2012 season
According to all likelihood, Robert Kubica will not be fit to drive a Formula 1 car at the start of the 2012 season.

When questioned by our colleagues from Autohebdo on the subject, Lotus-Renault GP’s boss, Eric Boullier, seems to confirm that it is impossible to see the Polish driver return to Formula 1 by the start of the next season: «I am patient because I am morally committed to him, he has been very important for us. We have played the game with him. If we find ourselves in a situation where he is able to come back, even in the middle of the year, I will try to make it happen, but I cannot do more. »
Visibly, Kubica is experiencing more difficult times than expected, he who underwent surgery once again a few days ago to try to regain partial mobility of his fingers: «If he speaks to no one, what can I say? October must have been a key moment for him. Unfortunately, I think he is not ready for the moment.»
The Polish driver’s contract with Lotus-Renault GP ends on December 26 of this year, and the situation is somewhat complicated for Boullier: « What we know is that Robert cannot commit long-term yet. But obviously, we would like him to be back. Why not during the next season? »
