Saturday: Force India aims to fight for points
The Force India drivers didn't perform much better than in practice sessions and failed to reach Q3 in qualifying. However, Adrian Sutil and Paul di Resta, in 11th and 12th respectively, hope to fight for points tomorrow.

Adrian Sutil – 12th and 11th
Overall, this afternoon’s qualifying session went well. I’m disappointed not to have made it to Q3 because I wasn’t that far from 10th place. However, 11th position gives us the freedom to choose tires for tomorrow. I’m happy with the pace, but I don’t think I could have done better. We can rely on a good race strategy tomorrow because we still have a set of soft tires. And I hope to have a good race tomorrow.
Paul di Resta – 15th and 12th
« Given the difficult weekend we’ve had, I’m quite satisfied with this 12th position, and I’m just behind Adrian! I struggled to achieve the desired speed and ideal balance, but the settings were more suited for the race. Hopefully, it will pay off tomorrow. In any case, tire degradation will be a determining factor for the race. I hope to fight for points tomorrow. Anyway, I’ll get plenty of rest tonight, and I’ll give it my all tomorrow, as it’s one of the most physically demanding races of the season!
Robert Fernley – Deputy Director of Force India
« We knew that this high-speed track would not suit our car as well as Singapore. We can still be satisfied with this performance, and we have the freedom to choose tires! A long race awaits us tomorrow, and tire management will be crucial for each team. The car is performing well, and we have a good pace over long distances… So I hope we can score points tomorrow. »
