Mark Webber eager to be at Suzuka
Australian driver Mark Webber is eager to get to the Suzuka circuit in Japan to try to secure his first win of the season.

Mark Webber has experienced a rather frustrating season, with no additional victories to his name so far.
Facing his teammate, Sebastian Vettel, who is leading the championship and will likely be crowned in Japan, the Australian driver hopes to have a good race on a circuit he appreciates: «Suzuka has a sensational combination of corners, it’s very fast in the first sector. It’s a fairly tight track, so you have to be very, very precise. The rhythm is very important here as well. You must ensure the car is completely at the limit in every corner. It’s a good challenge for the drivers and there are also some very interesting elevation changes. I’m looking forward to being there.»
Webber, always very socially engaged (we remember his stance on the Bahrain Grand Prix issue), thinks that the race will have a positive impact on the Japanese population after this year’s earthquake: «After the immense tragedy that occurred in Japan earlier this year, it’s nice to be part of something that people look forward to.»
His teammate Sebastian Vettel shares the same opinion on the matter: «The fans in Japan are special. What they have experienced in recent months is unimaginable, but they are so impressive. They are extremely patient and always polite and friendly, and their resilience is astonishing. I hope we can put on a good show for them this weekend.»
Japanese fans will surely have the chance to witness Sebastian Vettel’s second championship win on their home soil this Sunday… even though Jenson Button (adored in the Land of the Rising Sun since his marriage to Japanese model Jessica Michibata) still has a mathematical chance of winning the title.
