Friday: Sauber expects a good weekend
On a circuit that should better suit the Sauber, the drivers of the Swiss team are quite optimistic.
Sergio Pérez – 14th and 8th
« Today we had very good conditions for driving. The circuit is very demanding for the drivers and also for the tires. You must stay focused all the time. Turn 10 can be very tricky because the curbs are high, and if you make a mistake in this chicane, you jump very high. I hope we manage to find a good balance on the car for the race. I think we have some good opportunities to score points here ».
Kamui Kobayashi – 15th and 9th
« My car was quite good today. Generally, it is better on tracks that require more downforce, which is the case here, compared to the tracks we have raced on recently. Both types of tires, soft and super soft, look good ».
