A victory in Singapore would make Vettel happy
Sebastian Vettel loves the Marina Bay circuit, but the German driver has yet to win in Singapore. However, he hopes to change that this weekend on an urban track that should suit his RB7 well.

Sebastian Vettel loves the Singapore Grand Prix, but so far in three years, he has not yet managed to win it – 5th in 2008 with Toro Rosso and then respectively fourth and second in 2009 and 2010 with Red Bull. But the reigning world champion hopes this will change this weekend because he knows his car should allow him to play leading roles both in the battle for pole position on Saturday and for the victory on Sunday.
« We have had good races in Singapore in the past, especially last year when I finished second, just behind Fernando (Alonso). I love this track, it is very demanding; there are many corners, it’s very long, it’s hot, and it’s a night race, so there are a lot of special things in Singapore. Our car seems to be very competitive there, so hopefully we can go this year and win – that would be very special», said Sebastian Vettel.
This Singapore race could also be an opportunity to celebrate a second title for the German driver if circumstances are favorable for him. But for now, he’s not thinking about it; he just wants to have a good weekend on the streets of Singapore.
Regarding the championship, there is still time. We are in an excellent position, which we deserve because we have worked hard and made few mistakes. As long as we approach the next race with an even greater lead than at the start of the weekend, then it will mean we have done a good job, so we will see, added the Red Bull driver.
