Valtteri Bottas in aerodynamic testing for Williams
The Williams team recently organized an aerodynamic test aiming to improve the FW33. And it was the Finnish driver who was in the spotlight that day.

The Williams management offered Valtteri Bottas the privilege of driving the Grove single-seater for aerodynamic tests. The reserve driver conducted these straight-line tests at the Kemble air base in England.
The recent GP3 champion said he was very happy to have had this experience for his team: « It was a long test, but it went wonderfully! We were thus able to analyze the effect of some recently installed parts on the car, which could be used until the end of the season »,” said the 22-year-old.
Indeed, this aero package could include a completely redesigned blown diffuser as well as a new front wing. The team plans to implement these parts as early as the Singapore Grand Prix.
Having left Monza without any points, Williams will therefore try to make the most of the last 6 races of the season to improve the team’s disappointing performances.
