A special helmet for Petrov
Vitaly Petrov will race this weekend in Italy with a specially decorated helmet.

The Lotus-Renault GP driver is wearing a black helmet this weekend in tribute to the victims of the air crash that took place in Russia this week.
The entire Lokomotiv ice hockey team perished in this terrible accident that occurred on Wednesday, shortly after the plane took off.
Vitaly Petrov is, of course, deeply affected by this tragedy that claimed the lives of 42 people.
I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the families of the victims of this terrible catastrophe. No matter which team you support, the whole of Russia is shocked by what has just happened. I do not understand how such disasters can still occur after flight controls have been further tightened.
This tribute is reminiscent of those that occurred at the 2001 Italian Grand Prix following the September 11 disaster. The Ferrari team raced their cars without any other markings except a black stripe on the front of the car, and many messages of support came from other teams.
