Vitantonio Liuzzi – 22nd and 22nd

« Overall, it wasn’t a bad day at all. We had many things to test: the aerodynamic upgrade, the new exhausts, and our specific rear wing for Montreal. We found that our balance was better as well as our overall speed; now we need to work on optimizing the exhaust system. I am happy that we are making a step forward in our competition against our closest rivals and I think tomorrow’s qualifying will be interesting. I enjoyed the few long stints I was able to do today and it seems that the car is better in race configuration than for qualifying. All in all, we can approach the rest of the weekend positively ».

Narain Karthikeyan – 24th and 23rd

Today, we had a lot of new parts on the car: the diffuser and the rear wing which was made specifically for this track, so we had to fine-tune all of that. But it’s a positive step forward. We need to find a good balance and good mechanical grip for tomorrow because it’s essential to save the tires here. The track wears down the rear tires a lot, so we have to be careful and work on this point. For tomorrow, we have to wait and see what the weather conditions will be.

Colin Kolles

« We had a lot of developments on the car today and it seems there is some improvement, but we still need to evaluate the data. Today, we worked on the setup for the race and will now see if we can make another step forward in the third free practice session.

We feel more comfortable than in Monaco, we have all the new parts we had planned, and there is an improvement, but I can’t tell you by how much at the moment. The reality of this improvement will be appreciated in qualifying, but it seems to be positive.
