Saturday: Force India will aim for points tomorrow

The qualifications for the Chinese Grand Prix went well for the Indian team. Paul Di Resta placed the car in 8th position while Adrian Sutil fell short of the top 10. Both drivers are therefore pleased with their performance and hope to score some points tomorrow.

Paul Di Resta – 8th:

I couldn’t hope for better today and it’s nice to be in Q3. After missing yesterday afternoon’s session, we knew it would be difficult this morning, but we had an update and it certainly improved performance today.

Fortunately, I set my best lap on my second attempt in Q1 because I struggled a bit with the balance of my car in the others. Our race pace doesn’t seem too bad, so fingers crossed and let’s hope we can score some points tomorrow as we did in the previous Grand Prix.

Adrian Sutil – 11th:

It was a good qualifying, and I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s race. This weekend went better than the previous ones, without any real problems, so it seems good for us. It was difficult at the end of the session with the red flag that made me miss a lap, but overall I’m very happy.
