Timo Glock – 22nd and 21st
« After free practice 3 this morning, I would say we had some issues since we couldn’t get the car to work as it did yesterday and we didn’t have the same speed. My race engineer and performance engineer worked very well together to find a good solution that allowed us to regain the level of performance we had up until then. I wasn’t very lucky with my second set of tires as I had to deal with traffic with Karthikeyan. I would have gained a few tenths, but it wouldn’t have changed our position today. We did our best to ensure both cars made it home and to make the most of every opportunity that would present itself: one of them could obviously come from the weather, as there is a chance of rain for the race. »
Jerome D’Ambrosio – 21st and 22nd
I am very happy with the work we did today. It’s certainly a step forward and I worked much better than in Melbourne. I learned a lot of things. I am very happy with the way we worked this weekend and I am looking forward to tomorrow. It should be very interesting with the weather and the refueling will play an important role I think. Overall, I am quite happy with this second Saturday. I am making progress and I am happy about it.

Until now, it has been a mixed weekend, but today, I think we can be happy to have gotten the most out of our car and qualified comfortably: it’s a step forward from Melbourne. […] I think if dry conditions prevail tomorrow, it could be a long race, but you never know what the tires and weather conditions have in store. There were a few showers in the nearby area today, but none of them disrupted the session. So we look forward to tomorrow and hope to bring both cars to the checkered flag.
