Red Bull finally unveils its testing schedule
Red Bull Racing has finally confirmed its testing schedule ahead of next week's Barcelona tests. The Austrian team has chosen not to join Ferrari, Mercedes, Williams, and HRT for the last four days of testing, opting instead for a session from Tuesday to Friday.

The final batch of pre-season tests in Barcelona is about to begin. It has been changed to a five-day session after Mercedes GP scheduled four days of testing from Wednesday to Saturday instead of Tuesday to Friday. There were discussions among the teams about each other’s schedules, but only Ferrari, Williams, and HRT chose to go along with Mercedes.
Other teams insisted on sticking to the initial plan. Red Bull Racing spent the last week listening to weather forecasts and will adhere to a Tuesday to Friday schedule.
The team had to weigh the pros and cons between this final testing session and the departure for Australia for the first race of the season, which in this case, will give them an extra day of preparation.
Red Bull Racing has decided to run from Tuesday to Friday, which means spectators will only see Ferrari, Mercedes, or even Williams racing on Saturday.
In addition to being the last pre-season test, Barcelona will see a full lineup of 2011 cars as HRT is almost certain to unveil its new F111. A team spokesperson admitted he was 90% certain that the new car would run for the first time on Wednesday or Thursday.
