Williams also unveils a special US livery
With an American driver and few sponsors, it seemed surprising that Williams would not launch a special livery. Now it's done.
Nothing like putting up the American flag prominently to please the local crowd. Williams plans to capitalize on the fact that she has the only American driver on the grid. She had thus already launched a range of merchandise, which takes up the earthy ochre color code of the local university football team, the Texas Longhorns.
On the eve of the first wheels turning in Austin, Williams unveiled a livery with the engine cover filled with the star-spangled flag. It’s also an opportunity to showcase the new sponsor, announced the same morning. To announce a partnership of several years with the nutrition specialist THG, the team had thus brought… a Monster Truck. When they say everything is bigger in Texas… This is reflected by a “MyProtein” logo at the level of the radiators.
The back part of the fin is usually reserved for its sponsor Kraken. This time, it will be colored with 7 NFTs: 5 chosen by the fan community and one by each driver.
