Silverstone announced that all its ‘general admission’ tickets for the 2010 British Grand Prix have been sold out. The British track claims that demand has remained very high as the race was confirmed at the Northamptonshire circuit.
Three stands can still accommodate people for the Saturday qualifying session.
« Tickets for the British Grand Prix are selling as well as in recent months, but we still have a long way to go to achieve a sell-out in all areas, » said Richard Phillips, managing director of Silverstone.
« Fans have made advance reservations, and general admission tickets are always the first to go, but they do not offer access to the stands. Fans will appreciate being able to watch the action from different locations on the embankments around the circuit. This type of ticket is extremely popular and sold out faster than in previous years. »
