Heading into the three free practice sessions, securing the fastest time in qualifications, and emerging as the race winner, the weekend couldn’t have been better for Max Verstappen at Suzuka.

The weekend was simply incredible. The car performed very well right from the first tests on Friday.

Titled for the sixth time in its history, the Red Bull team is now just one unit away from Lotus in the ranking of the number of constructor titles in the history of F1. An achievement that Verstappen wanted to acknowledge.

« I am very proud of the entire team, both at the factory and on the track. What we are achieving this season is simply extraordinary. »

The Dutchman could secure his third world championship title as early as the next race weekend in Qatar. To do so, all he needs to do is finish ahead of Sergio Perez in the Saturday Sprint race.
