GP Explorer 2: Participants, program and schedule
The second edition of the GP Explorer takes place on Saturday and will be live-streamed on Twitch from the Bugatti circuit at Le Mans. Find the schedule as well as the members of the race.
The GP Explorer is back this weekend for its second edition. The event will take place this Saturday, September 9th, at the Bugatti Circuit in Le Mans and will once again bring together 24 amateur drivers for a 15-lap Formula 4 race.
On October 8, 2022, the first GP Explorer took place. Organized by the YouTuber Squeezie, an automobile enthusiast, it brought together 40,000 spectators in attendance.
Gasly and Ocon as coaches
This time, the organization aims to be even bigger. Like last year, prestigious guests will be present, including the two Formula 1 drivers for Alpine, Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly. Our two French drivers will also serve as coaches for 2 teams. It should also be mentioned that the event is supported by the French brand, which supplies the engines for the drivers’ Mygale M21 Formula 4 cars, and will also have a team named after it.

The famous automotive YouTuber GMK will also be present on site to give rides to yet unknown guests in his racing cars (including a Mercedes C63 AMG Black Series and a Porsche 911 GT3 RS).
On site, fans with a valuable ticket will have access to the village where various activities await them, catering services, open seating in the stands to attend the practices, qualifying rounds, and the race, a visit to the pits (without the drivers), and finally, the track invasion and a concert to conclude the day.
How to follow the event?
To get one’s ticket, it was necessary to get up very early. During the ticket office opening last May, the 60,000 tickets put on sale this year at the price of 48 euros (6 more than in 2022) were sold out in half an hour. A ticket resale platform was then set up.
If you want, like many others, to follow the event live from home, it will be broadcast on Twitch. Last year, the first edition broke the record for simultaneous views for a French stream (+1,000,000).
Finally, what the spectators were waiting for in the first place was the announcement of the drivers present. Several are returning after the GP Explorer 1, such as the car enthusiasts and YouTubers Sylvain Lévy and Depielo, who finished first and second in 2022, respectively. Additionally, this year the cast has expanded and now includes not only Internet personalities but also rap stars SCH, Kekra, and Soso Maness.
