Monza, the enthusiasm of the tifosi captured in images
In Monza, Ferrari is at home. The circuit becomes almost entirely red, in the colors of the Scuderia, during Grand Prix weekends. Thousands of tifosi (fans) come, some to watch the race and many to scream their love for Ferrari.

For Max Verstappen, the transition must be strange. Just a week ago, the Dutchman won his 9th consecutive race at Zandvoort, in his home country of the Netherlands, in front of a sea of orange supporters. A few days later, here he is in Monza, on Italian soil, facing a crowd deeply connected to Ferrari.
Leclerc and Sainz received like kings
The two drivers of the Scuderia are the stars of the weekend, and the delicate sporting situation doesn’t diminish the love they receive for a second. Charles Leclerc, Ferrari’s protege who has been supported by them since his earliest years, is obviously the darling of the fans, having won at Monza in 2019.
Carlos Sainz, neither Italian nor nurtured at Ferrari, is receiving (a bit) fewer requests than his teammate. At least, that was the case before the Spaniard started being the fastest this weekend. His surprise pole position, by 13 thousandths ahead of Verstappen, has made the stands at the circuit explode.
The tifosi were waiting for Leclerc, they got Sainz, but the joy is no less great. For three days on site, we have been witnesses to the exceptional atmosphere that reigns in Monza and we invite you to immerse yourself in it thanks to Nicolas Lerooy’s photos.
