Super-Aguri has postponed the official launch of its 2008 car because the team wants to take a little more time to consider its new investors and the drivers who will race for them this new year.
She had planned to unveil her SA08 and 2008 line-up in Barcelona on February 19th. However, the ongoing discussions to resolve a fragile financial situation have led the team to change its plans.
The main team Aguri Suzuki and technical director Mark Preston have assured that the SA08 should cover its first kilometers by the end of the month.
It is likely that the driver line-up, team colors, and final sponsors will only be revealed at the opening of the 2008 season at the Australian Grand Prix.
Last week, the SA08 passed its crash tests and has therefore been approved by the FIA. Super-Aguri will be present in the coming days at the Jerez tests after missing a few test sessions.
