Kimi Räikkönen stated this week in Jerez that the F2008 car is more performant and reliable than last year’s, the F2007.
It is the Spanish sports newspaper Marca that reports Räikkönen’s remarks about the initial results of Scuderia’s new car.
« The car has improved in many areas, particularly in terms of its handling in slow corners, » revealed the Finn.
Räikkönen added that during the next outing of the car, in Valencia for the tests starting next Tuesday, the F2008 will be tested with modified bodywork parts.
« So far, the car is performing well and I think we are in a very good starting position, » he said.
