The Italian has already completed a rally weekend with Peugeot in 2002 but had retired. Last season, he repeated the experience to finish in New Zealand in 11th place with a Subaru.
This season, the seven-time world champion is expected to return to the stages with a Subaru in Great Britain in early November. He will also participate in the Monza National Rally at the end of the month.
