Renault Roadshow will thrill Mexico this weekend

As part of its Roadshow program, the French team is preparing to offer an exceptional demonstration in the streets of Mexico City, one of the largest megacities in the world!

And yet earlier this month, another Renault engine was already heard in Mexico, specifically in Monterrey, on one of the city’s main highways and again this weekend in Guadalajara… It is indeed under the colors of the Red Bull Racing team that the Renault engine began to set the tone for what will be an exceptional demonstration this Sunday, October 14th!

After two demonstrations by the Renault customer team, the official team is getting ready to electrify the Mexican capital with the sound of its V8! Mexico City, one of the most populous and noisy cities in the world, will indeed resonate to the rhythm of Formula 1 on October 13 and 14, under the colors of the ING Renault F1 Team.

Partners in this project, Renault Mexico, ING Mexico, and the Government of the Federal District hope to make this event a true celebration of motorsport, in a warm and friendly atmosphere… The very philosophy of the ING Renault F1 Team Roadshow program.

In the heart of Paseo de la Reforma, one of the most beautiful sites in the capital, on a specially designed track for the occasion, 1.4 km long (a circuit of 2.8 km), Renault F1 hopes to reconnect the Mexican public with Formula 1, which hasn’t visited Mexico since 1992, the year of the 15th and last Mexican Grand Prix when Nigel Mansell, already with Williams-Renault, secured pole position and victory! A parade of modern and historical vehicles, as well as numerous activities and events, will be offered throughout these two days of celebration.

The two ING Renault F1 Team drivers, Giancarlo Fisichella and Nelson Piquet Jr, will come to represent the team and will take the wheel of the world champion R26 to offer an unforgettable show to the audience we expect in large numbers!

According to a statement from the ING Renault F1 Team
