Lewis Hamilton attracts the crowds!

The sensation Lewis Hamilton continues to bear fruit with the British people who are showing even more interest in Formula 1. This is evident with the very high number of tickets already sold for next year’s British Grand Prix at Silverstone.

Hamilton, who could win the world championship this season with a victory in China this weekend, had already caused a sudden surge in ticket sales for this year’s race in July. And this renewed interest in F1 continues as Silverstone announced that 10,000 fans have already purchased their tickets to come and cheer on their young prodigy. This is twice as many as at the same stage last year.

Richard Phillips, managing director of Silverstone Circuit, explains the reasons for this enthusiasm: “The thanks to Lewis Hamilton are very numerous, and we see how important it is for the British public to be able to support a potential British world champion.”

“Our ticket sales following the Japanese Grand Prix were the highest since the British Grand Prix of this year and the total of these sales represents double compared to the average of a September,” he added.

“The Hamilton effect is resonating with the British public but also with the sport of F1 in general. Several sections of the stands allocated to fans are already full for the event that will take place from July 4 to 6,” Richard Phillips continued.

“We strongly advise supporters who wish to reserve seats overlooking their favorite part of the circuit to buy their tickets as soon as possible to avoid any potential disappointment,” he concluded.
